Is Whistler, Canada more expensive than San francisco, California?

as far as food, drinks, and general entertainment. I was just wondering because every time someone asks about Whistler they say it is expensive.
whistler and Vancouver are very expensive places to live, eat, or be entertained. whistler serves up a slice of crap pizza for 5 bucks

im not too sure but san francisco expencive and most cities in canada have expensive products.

Wayyyy more expensive. A so-so restaurant at Whistler charges prices like you would find at the Drake in SF. Crappy pubs with $10 beer, snotty people, over rated hotels, a$$holes from Seattle everywhere you look, crappy road to get there.
