Whistler Backcountry Snowboarding

Late February, 2008
Los Badicales go snowboarding in the Canadian backcountry. Not too far from whistler, we went with Powder Mountain Catskiing for an incredible adventure ( http://powdermountaincatskiing.com/ ). Six of Los Badicales, plus a few other snowboarders and skiers (from London and from New Zealand) joined our guides, Nick and Mac, plus Angel the photographer and Bailey the driver for a day of unforgettable powder.
I filmed all of the footage using my V.I.O. POV1 helmet cam.
The music is from the “The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly” score composed by Ennio Morricone. The song is “The Trio (main title)”.

so many videos put some teenage music into their videos, one of the the best things about riding off piste is the sound you get under your board.

There is back …
There is back country but its absolute crap compared to whistler. Whistler probably has close to the best if not the best country and skiing in the world…

You can usually take backcontry boarding courses with guides, quite expensive, but definately doable if you’re in a Group, at least in Mayrhovn and Solden (austria). Haven’t done it myself yet.. will do soon enough
