hi everyone, my buddies and i are going to canada this winter season for vacation. does anyone know where the hot spots are in vancover and at the snow resort. so if anyone from the area or has been over there for a trip have any information on any local popular bars to go to? ANY CONNECTION TO MARIJUANA? resturant? or jus any basic information that we need to know to have the best vacation that we wont forget. thank you in advance.

marijuana is not bad for you. unless it is coated in something. it doesn’t have the tar that causes lung disease. in other words if you have an i-pod touch get the urban spoon app it gives you names directions and prices of nearby resteraunts.

I try to go to whistler every other year, Ive stayed in many hotels, but this year there are 6 of us going and we would like to rent a lodge/chalet type accommodation.
Does anyone know of any? would like to be close (ie walking distance) to the upper village

as far as food, drinks, and general entertainment. I was just wondering because every time someone asks about Whistler they say it is expensive.

whistler and Vancouver are very expensive places to live, eat, or be entertained. whistler serves up a slice of crap pizza for 5 bucks

My deepest sympathies go to the family, friends, teammates and countrymen & women of Nodar Kumaritashvili, the Georgian luge racer that died in a horrible accident the first day of the games, I think it was only fitting that the IOC president dedicated these games to his memory.

Thank you and congrats to all the Canadian athletes for making this the most succesful winter games ever for Canada, you all deserve to take a bow for all your hard work and perseverance just to get to the level of qualifying for the games let alone compete at a level high enough to actually win a medal.

Thank-you also to all the volunteers, workers, organizers, host families, police, security, score keepers, time keepers, judges, referees and COC & VANOC & IOC members for making these games such a success!!!
