Canucks announce training camp in Whistler

The Vancouver Canucks announced that Whistler, B.C. will host their 2016 Training Camp from September 22-26th. On-ice training at Meadow Park Sports Centre begins September 23rd and is open to the public.

A complete schedule of practice sessions, events and player roster will be released within the weeks leading up to training camp. The Canucks return to Whistler after holding camp last year in Prince George, the club’s first training camp in Northern British Columbia.

Historically Vancouver Canucks training camps have been held throughout the province of B.C. including stops in Victoria, Courtney, Powell River, Duncan, Parksville, Kamloops, Vernon and Penticton. The Canucks have also held training camp in Calgary, Alberta during the club’s first four NHL seasons and in Stockholm, Sweden in 2000.

• Young Stars Tournament – Penticton, Sept. 16-19
